OYWO YOUTH PLAYGROUND

After 3 years of developing OYWO we are excited to focus on a city based initiative that can be a model for other locations. Our goal is to co-create a community focused sports zone for the local youth. Funding, design and construction will be shared by the local youth (through OYWO challenges), local businesses and local government.

MINTWOOD

MintWood is to be an off-grid 4 unit accommodation centre. The goal of the project is to create a beautiful eco friendly centre that will both generate rental income and also educate and encourage the adoption of various eco technologies both cutting edge (Mint) and traditional (Wood)

GYMGLISH

Gymglish is a fun, new and effective approach to language learning. Using a multi-media gym setup, students will learn English through contextual learning all whilst getting fit and making friends.

YWAM - THE BEACH BASE

We plan to grow the YWAM base...the 'Beach Base' over the coming years. We will be running 'Good News Only' DTSs and other second-level YWAM University of the Nations schools connected to environmental stewardship, youth work, sport and fitness. We are excited to see an international community grow and be a blessing to the people of Francavilla, Italy and beyond.

WATER BAR - H2O / KM0

The vision here is to create a cool 'Water Bar' that serves water infused only with products grown on site. A farm field, a greenhouse and a high tech container food factory will supply the bar with fruits, herbs and spices. The water will be filtered rain water. All cooling and heating of the water will be solar powered electricity. Everything will be KM Zero!

COMMUNITY CENTRE

In time we hope to create a community centre that will offer a smorgasbord of opportunities. The sky is the limit. We will be a 'do-ocracy'. If you have a vision and passion for an initiative that aligns with our values, there will be space for you!

WOMEN IN THE WINE

Wine tours for women. A safe place for women of all ages to let their hair down. A space for friendship to flourish. All in the context of the Good News and the beauty of Abruzzo. A 5-7 day program involving visits to organic wineries, massages, pasta making, beaches and a boat ride.

FUN BOAT

Quite simply a crazy fun time for the thousands of youth visiting Francavilla each summer. Slides, diving boards, trampolines, rope swings, Russian swings, climbing wall....and all things 'splashtastic'. Not to mention an onboard gelateria. A couple of lifeguards and strict guidelines will ensure the fun is super safe too.

ECO SPORTS HOTEL
& YWAM CENTRE

As our international community grows we can imagine one day creating an Eco Sports Hotel, leaning into our passion for sport, the environment and hospitality.

SAUNA RAFT
LITTLE MERMAIDS

Lisanne, known as the crazy English woman for her cold water swimming exploits, is keen to spread the joy and health benefits of a dip in the Adriatic...even in the winter. The sauna boat is perhaps the genius idea that will encourage the locals to join her. What a great way to combine the multiple health benefits of hot/cold exposure exercise, nature and community.
